What you are owed, clear and current. In dollars, collected in bolívares at the day's rate.

Medeben is the collections tool for distributors that deliver to shops on credit and lenders that lend to people, in Venezuela. Every debt keeps its currency, every payment leaves a receipt with its rate, and every debtor gets a link to see their account.

Medeben does not lend money or move your money: the debtor pays you, through your own channels.

Three steps, no notebook

From the delivery note to full collection, without arguing how much it is in bolívares.

  1. 1

Register the debtor and the note

Add the debtor with a name and, if you have them, a phone number and ID. Record the debt in the currency it was agreed in, with its due date and a photo of the signed note.

  2. 2

Collect and hand over the receipt

Record the payment with its method and currency. Medeben converts it at the rate of the payment day, applies it to the debt and issues a receipt with how much came in, at what rate and how much is left.

  3. 3

    Send them their link

Each debtor gets a link, with no account or install. There they see their full account, where to pay, and can report a payment. You confirm when you see the money.

How it looks on the phone

Each debtor's account in dollars and in bolívares, the receipt you send on WhatsApp and the link where your customer sees what they owe today.

What anyone who lends on credit needs

Six things that today are done by hand, with a calculator and a lot of memory.

Debts in their currency, payments at the day's rate

The debt lives in dollars or euros. Every payment in bolívares is converted at the official rate of the payment day, or at the one your business agreed on, and the rate is frozen on the receipt.

A public link per debtor

Your customer sees their account, where to pay, and reports their payment from their phone, with no account or install. If a link reaches the wrong person, you renew it instantly.

Receipts numbered per business

Every payment leaves a receipt with its number, the amount, the rate, the date and the balance left. No more «I already paid you».

Credit limit and «do not lend» warning

Set how much each debtor can owe you and flag whoever should not be lent to. Medeben warns you before you deliver. The debtor never sees that flag.

Collector daily settlement

What your collector took in on the street is settled against what they hand over, by method and currency. Any difference is recorded with its amount and reason the same day.

Collect without signal

Record debtors, debts and payments at the shop door even with no connection. They sync later, using the rate of the day you collected.

For anyone who gives credit

Two trades, the same unpaid account.

Distributor

You deliver goods to shops and collect later.

  • Record each delivery note with its amount in dollars and its due date.
  • See who has gone more than 30 days without paying, without adding anything up by hand.
  • Settle every day what your collectors took in on their route.
  • The shop receives a link and, if it wants, opens its own business from there.

Lender

You lend to people and collect in installments.

  • Record the loan with its principal, interest, installments and frequency.
  • Medeben shows the installment plan and what is left to collect.
  • Each payment leaves its receipt, with the day's rate if paid in bolívares.
  • The person who owes you sees their full account in their link, with respect.

Medeben is a ledger, not a lender: it does not lend you money and it does not lend to your debtors.

Frequently asked questions

Does Medeben lend money?

No. Medeben is a ledger so you can collect what you already lent or sold on credit. It does not lend money to anyone.

Does it charge a commission on each payment?

No. It charges no commission per payment or per debt, and your debtors' money never passes through Medeben: they pay you, through your own channels.

Which rate does it use?

The official rate of the Central Bank of Venezuela on the day of the payment, or the rate your business agreed with its customers. Every receipt shows the rate, its source and its date.

Does my debtor need to install anything?

No. They open a link from their phone, with no account or install, and there they see their account and report their payments.

Does it work without signal?

Yes. You can record debtors, debts and payments offline; they sync when the signal returns, using the rate of the day you collected.

Who sees my debtors' data?

Only your business. Each business has its data isolated from the others, and a debtor's link shows only that debtor's account. The details are on the privacy page.
